Abstract
The sharpener units includes a pencil or core sharpener and a cover housing, which surrounds and secures the sharpener and comprises a floor part and a hood that is detachably secured thereto. A throughgoing opening is also provided for guiding a pencil or core from the outside into the pencil or core sharpener. The floor and hood parts of the cover housing include fixing elements for selectively securing sharpeners having different external dimensions or formats.
