Abstract

A process for producing glucoprotamines by condensation of N-substituted propylene diamines with,-aminoglutaric compounds in which the reaction is carried out in the presence of aminosilicones is disclosed. Glucoprotamines produced in accordance with the disclosed process exhibit improved color quality and longer storage stability.
