Abstract
A chopstick set includes two pairs of chopsticks with a single pair of interchangeable handles and with each pair being of a different configuration such as Chinese style and Japanese style. Each chopstick has a handle or holder portion detachably connected to a food engaging or gripping portion. The adjacent ends of the handle or holder portion and the food engaging or gripping portion are detachably joined together by an interference type fit connector. A hygienic and cleanable travel case is provided having a support or insert with channels shaped to receive and store the pairs of chopsticks when disassembled. A sanitizer may be carried in the case.
