Abstract
The invention relates to the use of hyperforin and hyperforin-containing extracts of,(St. John's wort) in the treatment and prophylaxis of dementia diseases, including Alzheimer's disease, as well as the use of hyperforin and hyperforin-containing extracts for the preparation of a medicament for the treatment and prophylaxis of such dementia diseases.
