Abstract
A continuously variable chain-belt transmission has two cone-disk pulleys (pairs of conical disks) (,), a chain belt (,) as well as a noise-damping device (,) for damping the noise generated by the chain-belt running over the cone-disk pulleys. The noise-damping device is arranged at the bearings of the conical disks (,) and prevents sound waves from being transmitted through material portions of the transmission from the conical disks to adjacent parts.
