Abstract
The present invention provides a electrical double layer capacitor that can prevent the leakage of an electrolyte solution to the outside that is caused by the fractures occurring in the collectors, and thereby both the yield during manufacture processing and the reliability can be improved. Chamfered portions, are formed on the corners that are the border between components that are adjacent to the surfaces, and,of the polarizing electrodes, that do not contact a separator, and a collector,, and thereby, the stress focus on these corners, which occurs easily at the contacting portions between the polarizing electrode, and the collector,, occurs with difficulty.
