Abstract
An adhesive composition for surgical use including an &agr;-cyanoacrylate adhesive composition with a polymer characteristic for biodegrading and bioabsorbing the adhesive into the body of a living organism. It is preferred that the polymer is a co-polymer of DL-lactic acid and &egr;-caprolactone or a co-polymer of DL-lactic acid, ethylene glycol and &egr;-caprolactone, or a co-polymer of ethylene glycol and &egr;-caprolactone.
