Abstract
A fluid-filled active vibration damping device for actively damping a vibration of a desired object, wherein an elastically deformable elastic body and an oscillating body partially define a fluid chamber filled with a non-compressible fluid, and the oscillating body is elastically supported by an elastic support member such that the oscillating body is oscillatable by an actuator, so as to control a pressure of the non-compressible fluid in the fluid chamber, and wherein a control device controls the actuator by applying thereto a pulse signal whose frequency corresponds to a frequency of the vibration of the desired object, and the oscillating body has a natural frequency fa which satisfies an inequality, (1/{square root over (2)})F<fa<2F.
