Abstract
A multipoint switch, especially for high voltage, having identically configured interrupter units (,), the pivoting contacts (,) of which are connected to a common drive (,) by a linkage mechanism (,) associated with the interrupter unit (,) and by a drive linkage (,), whereby the linkage mechanisms (,) of all interrupter units (,) are identically configured and are moved back and forth between the on- and off-position by the drive. Each linkage mechanism (,) includes a rocker arm (,) attached to a pivoting shaft (,) and a connecting rod (,) articulated to it and to the pivoting contact. A rocker link (,) is arranged on the pivoting shaft (,), which under combined action is connected to the drive linkage (,) with at least another linkage mechanism (,). Two operatively combined links of the linkage mechanism (,) take a position at least close to a stable position in the on- and off-position. The relative position of the linkage mechanisms (,) of the separate interrupter units (,) is adjustable, allowing a precise adjustment of relative switching time points of separate terminals, as well as an exact adjustment of simultaneity of all terminals.
