Abstract

The invention concerns a solenoid valve for the opening and shutting of a channel (,) for a medium, featuring an electromagnet (,) with a soft iron magnetic core (,) and a coil (,) and an armature actuated by them. According to the invention, it is provided that the channel passes through the ferrite core with its feed opening ending at the front side of the ferrite core, that the armature is configured as a sheet metal armature (,) that, on the side of the exit of the channel, is elastically held against the magnetic force and that features a seal (,), on its side facing the channel, which shuts the channel when the sheet metal armature is pulled down.
