Abstract
A fixture (,) for displaying merchandise such as cans (C) includes shelves (,) having slots (,) in their upper surface (,). A plurality of inserts (,) divides the shelves (,) into rows of merchandise receiving areas. The inserts (,) each include a base member (,) having a tab (,) in one embodiment, and a plurality of tabs (,) in another embodiment, each adapted to be received in a slot (,). A divider strip extending upwardly from the base member (,), and rails (,) extending upwardly from the base member (,) at its lateral edges. The rails (,) of adjacent inserts (,) provide a surface on which the cans (C) may rest, and the shelves (,) may be inclined so that the cans (C) may slide on the rails (,) toward the front of the shelves (,).
