Abstract

According to the invention a switching device (,) for an electric heating device is provided with a rod-shaped temperature sensor (,) formed by a ceramic rod (,) and an extension tube (,). The temperature sensor (,) operates a snap-action switch (,) located in a base (,) by means of an actuator separate from the said switch, which has at least one actuating part (,), which is loaded in the actuating direction by a leaf spring (,), the actuating part (,) and leaf spring (,) being in one piece.
