Abstract
A shielded connector comprises a plurality of female contacts,and a shield cover,. The female contacts,are aligned and retained in a row extending in a right and left direction in an insulative housing,, and said shield cover,is mounted on the insulative housing,. A plurality of insertion openings,are provided at the front of the insulative housing,, and the male contacts of a matable connector being inserted through the insertion openings,into the shielded connector are engaged with the female contacts,. The shield cover,is formed of an electrically conductive plate and bent in a “U” figure, and it is provided with a plurality of through holes,. When the shield cover,is mounted on the insulative housing,, covering the upper and lower surfaces and the front surface thereof, the through holes,of the shield cover,meet the insertion opening,of the insulative housing
