Abstract
A cutting tool assembly (,) having a body portion (,) and at least one cutting portion (,), the at least one cutting portion (,) having a clamping portion (,), an insert retaining member (,), a precisely located cutting insert (,) and a securing member (,) for ensuring that precise location of the cutting insert is maintained. If the insert-retaining member becomes damaged due to contact with a workpiece it can be removed from the cutting tool assembly and replaced.
