Abstract

A fixing device is proposed for mounting the slide bars of a seat on a vehicle floor by means of vertical anchoring pins fixed to the floor. These anchoring pins are located in holes provided in the base of the fixed section of the slide bars and then blocked bv sliding latches which are resiliently biased into their locked position. The latches are initially held unblocked by triggers and these triggers are moved back releasing the latches when the seat is positioned on the floor of the vehicle.
