Abstract

A modular system for deploying and powering a device, such as an electric submergible pumping system, in a well. The modular system includes a plurality of interconnectable segments that each include an outer section of tubing and an internal power cable. Each section includes a tubing connector and a power cable connector that permits ready connection of sequential segments when deploying a device or system downhole.
