Abstract

For fibrillating a continuously conveyed, textile sheet material (,) a fluid under high pressure is delivered through a wide-slot nozzle (,) as a continuous fluid curtain (,) onto the sheet material (,). With this gentle way of fibrillating all types of fabrics may be fibrillated, in particular also light materials. The wide-slot nozzle (,) can be manufactured simply and inexpensively.
