Abstract
The invention is directed to a method and an arrangement for controlling a drive unit wherein at least one measurement signal quantity (U,) is detected. This measurement signal quantity (U,) has at least one end value and the control of the drive unit is undertaken in dependence thereon. Furthermore, a calibration value for this measurement quantity is pregiven and the measurement quantity is converted into a relative measurement quantity (wped) in dependence upon the calibration value. Several measurement signal quantity ranges are pregiven and that range is determined to which the end value of the measurement signal quantity is assigned. The calibration then takes place on the basis of a base value assigned to this region.
