An off-road pneumatic tire,having a plurality of lugs,extending from a first shoulder,to a second shoulder,. The plurality of lugs,are separated by a plurality of wide grooves,. The tire,has at least a first lug,and a second lug,. The lugs,alternate circumferentially between the first lug,and the second lug,. The first lugs,has three tread elements,separated by a first and second narrow groove,, and the second lug,has two tread elements,separated by a third narrow groove,. In a preferred embodiment, the respective lugs,incline from the first shoulder,to the second shoulder,and are interconnected by wide groove tie bars
