Abstract
The invention relates to an assembly having a universal joint (,) with a first joint yoke (,), a second joint yoke (,), a cross member (,) and a gear (,). The first joint yoke (,) is rotatable around a first axis of rotation (,). The second joint yoke (,) is rotatable around a second axis of rotation (,). The cross member unit (,) articulatable connects the joint yokes (,) to one another. Thus, angles of their axes of rotation (,) are adjustable relative to one another. The gear (,) acts as a drive. The gear (,) is connected in a rotationally fast way to the first joint yoke (,). The gear (,) is arranged co-axially relative to the axis of rotation (,) around the center of the cross member unit (,). Thus, this assembly reduces the size of the angles of articulation of universal joints of a short driveshaft.
