Abstract
The inventive percussion and/or drill hammer (,) consists essentially of a hammer housing (,) which surrounds a rotor for a percussive tool (,), including the drive mechanism and the holding element, and an outer shell (,) which encompasses the hammer housing (,) at a distance. Said outer shell (,) is connected elastically to the hammer housing (,) at selected coupling points and is connected to a first handle (,) at the end facing away from percussive tool (,) in the direction of impact of said percussive tool (,). The outer shell (,) extends as far as or at least almost as far as the percussive tool (,) where it is provided or can be provided with a second handle (,), said percussive tool projecting out of the hammer housing (,).
