Abstract
There is provided lower alkanesulphonate salts of cyanobenzylamines, which salts may be produced via a selective recrystallisation process. The salts may be produced advantageously following the selective hydrogenation of a dicyanobenzene to a cyanobenzylamine in the presence of a C,alkyl alcohol.
