Abstract

A valve (,) is connected to a fluid filled and pressurized container for discharging the fluid (,). A valve body (,) is fixed within a container lid (,). An ascending pipe (,) projects into the container and is connected to a discharge tube (,) which projects into the container lid. An atomizer cap (,) is engaged by a catch mechanism to the circumferential edge (,) of the container lid (,). The cap includes an atomizer nozzle (,) coupled to the discharge tube (,) and oriented approximately perpendicular to the long axis of the container. At the circumferential edge (,) of the container lid (,) there is formed at least one projection (,), which cooperates with a complementary recess on the inner circumferential surface of the atomizer cap (,) in order to achieve a rotationally stable fixation of the latter to the container lid (,), with the nozzle, located in accordance with the location of the end of pipe (,) within the container.
