Abstract
In a small camera having multiple functions, a large internal component such as a battery is designed so as to protrude above the top cover flat surface of the camera and the protruding part is covered by an operational cover component such a dial for controlling exposure or other functions of the camera. By having this large internal component located at least partially inside the take-up spool, for example, the height of the camera grip is reduced and the camera as a whole is made smaller.
