A connector comprising a contact element support,and a plurality of contact elements,, wherein said contact element support,comprises a first, e.g. upper surface provided with ribs,having walls,which define spaces,and a second, e.g. lower surface opposite said first surface and provided with recesses,, and wherein each of said contact elements,comprises claws,adapted to cooperate with said walls,defining said spaces,and further comprises a mounting portion,adapted to cooperate with said recesses,provided in said second surface.
