Abstract
The radio system for remote control operation in a stationary vehicle includes a transmitter outside of the vehicle which transmits a predetermined high frequency radio transmission in a meter wavelength band designed to be received only by a receiver located in the vehicle to the receiver (,) in a predetermined radio channel. The radio system includes at least two receiving antennas (,) mounted on the vehicle (,), which are decoupled from each other in a diversity-type manner in a frequency band of the radio channel and a respective one of these antennas is connected to the receiver tuned to this frequency channel with the help of a selection circuit (,) during a ready mode of the receiver (,). A clock (,), which sets a number of predetermine time intervals is provided, which controls the selection circuit (,) so that the respective antennas (,) are sequentially connected with the receiver one after the other at respective predetermined time intervals required for detection of a special radio signal designed for the particular radio receiver or for detection of a radio signal in the radio channel.
