Abstract
A subsea steep wave lock and guide mechanism (,) for elongated articles (,) such as cables, pipes and umbilicals provides a substantially horizontal inlet (,) for the article at seabed level and a substantially vertical flexible article outlet (,) leading to the steep wave.
