Abstract

In one embodiment of the invention, an antenna (,) includes an antenna cavity used for receiving a removable stylus (,). A retention feature such as a snap (,) helps retain the stylus (,) to the antenna (,) when not in use. In an alternate embodiment, the stylus (,) is an inlay to the outer wall of antenna (,). In still another embodiment of the invention, a removable antenna stylus (,) serves as an antenna when attached to radio (,) and as a stylus when removed from the radio (,).
