Abstract
A conventional honeycomb structure is strengthened by intermediate membranes (,), which compartmentalize the cells (,) in the height-wise direction. Such a structure more particularly has an increased mechanical strength and high damping properties for Helmholtz resonators intended to trap sound waves arriving on the structure by a perforated face (,).
