Abstract
A gene encoding an IgG Fc region-binding protein (FC&ggr;BP); a recombinant vector containing this gene; host cells transformed by this recombinant vector; a process for producing a recombinant protein which is obtained by incubating these host cells; and a protein having a recombinant IgG Fc region-binding activity which is obtained by the above-mentioned process.
