Abstract
A connecting terminal assembly for printed circuit boards comprising, an insulating housing,, a connection contact,having an insertion opening,attached to the housing,through which a conductor can be inserted under the connection contact,, a clamping means,having an elastic sidepiece,, cooperatively associated with an actuating element,having a pressure surface,supported in the housing,operable between a clamping position, wherein the clamping means,pulls the conductor which has been inserted through the insertion opening,against the connection contact,, and an open position allowing the insertion of the conductor, means mounting the actuating element,in such a way that it can slide back and forth to perch the actuating element,to an open position where it presses the elastic sidepiece,down so that the elastic force of the elastic sidepiece,locks into a latching recess,and when the actuating element,is lifted out of the latching recess,against the force of the elastic sidepiece,, the actuating element,is pushed back by the elastic sidepiece,into the clamping position.
