Abstract

A method and system (,) for generating database correlatable navigational charts that precisely match the simulated terrain and cultural features of a non-real-world visual database (,). The method includes the steps of reading the visual database into a data structure (,), testing for necessary contour intervals (,), converting the planar locations of each of the areal, contour line, linear and point features of the visual database into a pre-selected scale, and plotting each of these visual database features.
