Abstract
An absorbent composition for purifying gases which contain acidic components. The composition contains at least one compound of formula (I), wherein n is 2-6, p is 1-3, the R,groups may be the same or different and represent hydrogen or C,alkyl, and R,is hydrogen, C,alkyl or a group of formula (II). The composition is an aqueous solution of 20-60 w/w %.
