Abstract

An electromagnetic-wave shielding material, such as a conductive mesh member,, is bonded to a front surface of a PDP body,by transparent adhesives,B,,C and a transparent base plate,is bonded to a surface of the electromagnetic-wave shielding material by transparent adhesives,A so that they are integrated together. In this way, electromagnetic-wave shielding efficiency is imparted to a display panel itself, thereby lightening its weight, making its wall thinner, reducing the number of parts, and thus improving the productivity and reducing the cost.
