Abstract
A device for sealing a gap between two members. The device comprises at least one elastically expanding hose accommodated in a groove (,) in the wall of the gap. The hose can be expanded by a compressible fluid introduced through a rigid opening such that the hose cannot be displaced in relation to the opening. To provide a device that is easy to install and remove and that requires no straps to secure it, the hose (,) is inserted into the opening (,) and has one end loose and the other end secured by supports.
