Abstract

The method comprises the steps of sorting the images according to a principal criterion (width or height) and a secondary criterion (height or width) and after having indexed these images, automatically associating the image p−j and the image p+1+j with the same editing row so as to minimize the total useful width of the aggregation of the images, and calculates the maximum enlargement ratio for editing the aggregation of the images on a medium arranged in portrait or landscape mode.
