Abstract
A waterproof connector is provided. The connector includes a housing,having terminal accommodating chambers,for accommodating terminals,and a cover,overlaid on the housing,to define wire insertion holes,between the cover,and the housing,The cover,is provided with a fall-stop engagement part,which engages with respective rear ends of the terminals,in order to prevent them from falling out of housing,In order to provide the connector with a waterproof structure, a resinous cover part,of each covered wire,is welded to both housing,and cover,by ultrasonic oscillating the housing,under pressure while each wire,is inserted into the wire insertion hole,Further, owing to the ultrasonic oscillation, the housing,is also welded to the cover,in the resultant waterproof structure.
