Abstract
A shoulder anchor device comprises a through anchor (,) for supporting a seat belt, a base member (,) for mounting on a center pillar of a vehicle body, and a fixing mechanism (,) for fixing the through anchor to the base member. The base member includes a channel-shaped anchor fixing portion (,) of a generally C-shaped cross-section for fixing the through anchor, and a pair of vehicle fixing portions formed integrally at opposite ends of the anchor fixing portion and formed into a generally flat plate-shape in a cross-section.
