Abstract
A bending block for a four-high rolling stand comprising working rolls (,) and back-up rolls (,) associated with respective chocks (,), the stand also comprising a stationary housing (,) associated with means (,) for the crossing of the rolls, the working rolls (,) being able to be translated axially. The crossing means (,) cooperating with the outer lateral faces of the chocks (,) at least of the working rolls (,) by means of intermediate plates to distribute the thrust. There also being included bending jacks to bend at least the working rolls (,), the intermediate plates to distribute the thrust consisting of gibs (,) shaped like a vertical plate (,) with at least two fins (,) orthogonal to the vertical plate (,), the two fins (,) being arranged on one side and the other astride a fin extension (,) of the chock (,) of the relative working roll (,), the two fins (,) defining the respective positioning seating (,) for the bending jacks (,).
