Abstract
A dielectric ceramic composition containing a primary component represented by the following formula: {BaO},TiO,+&agr;M,O,+&bgr;R,O,+&ggr;BaZrO,+gMgO+hMnO wherein M,O,is at least one of Sc,O,or Y,O,; R,O,is at least one member selected from the group consisting of Eu,O,, Gd,O,, Tb,O,. Dy,O,, Ho,O,, Er,O,, Tm,O,and Yb,O,; &agr;, &bgr;, &ggr;, g or h represent a mole ratio and satisfy specified relations; and silicon oxide as an auxiliary component in an amount of 0.2-5.0 mol as SiO,, with respect to 100 mol of the primary component.
