Abstract
An assembling element, particularly for vehicle bodywork, is provided with a fastening edge (,) onto which an elastic weatherstrip made from an extrusion-compatible elastomer is extruded. The fastening edge (,) is provided with anchoring notches (,). In a variant, the elastomer of the weatherstrip and the surface of the fastening edge (,) do not form a mutual adhesive joint and the anchoring notches (,) are provided so that the weatherstrip, which is anchored solely mechanically, can be detached if required from the fastening edge (,) and, without further processing, subsequently be refastened mechanically to the fastening edge. In a second variant, the anchoring notches (,) prevent play and make it possible substantially to enhance the connection between the strip and the edge.
