The present invention relates to leave-on hair styling compositions comprising from greater than 0.5% to about 5% of a water soluble, non-polymeric mineral salt, from about 0.05% to about 0.5% of a lipophilic material, from about 0.01% to about 0.5% of a surfactant, and an aqueous carrier.
