Abstract

This vehicle security device (,) is a metal plate (,) bolted to a door handle unit inside a vehicle door to prevent unauthorized unlocking of a vehicle door by jamming a thin tool into a vehicle door. And, device (,) prevents unauthorized unlocking of a vehicle door by inserting a thin tool between the seam between the window glass and the flexible molding around a door window frame of a vehicle door. When installed, the device (,) blocks access to the inner end of a lock cylinder (,) by preventing the insertion of thin tools directly to the inner end of the lock cylinder (,). This device (,) is comprised of a configured metal plate (,), angled on its upper end to extend horizontally toward the inside of a vehicle door; one or more bolts (,); one or more spacers (,); and one or more lock washers (,). The metal plate (,) has a rectangular-shaped cut out (,) to accommodate placement adjacent to the key-turnable inner end of a door lock cylinder (,).
