Abstract

Methods aiding in the diagnosis of certain immune-mediated, motor-sensory polyneuropathies, both chronic and acute, by assessing the amount of antibodies to heparan sulfate glycosaminoglycan, either acetylated or non-acetylated, in a test sample, are disclosed, as are kits that can be used in the methods.
