Abstract

The bottom surfaces of an entering surface-forming portion, for forming a light-entering surface,of a reflector type prism, and of an emitting surface-forming portion, for forming a light-emitting surface,of the reflector type prism, are formed as concave surfaces in a die,. Even if shrinkage of the reflector type prism, occurs during its formation, the light-entering surface, and the light-emitting surface, are, at least, not formed as concave surfaces, so that a light beam entering the reflector type prism, and a light beam emitted from the reflector type prism, are prevented from becoming scattered.
