Abstract

A method and compound for the treatment of disease involving hyperproliferation of dermis cells is provided. In particular, compounds isolated from the species of plants known as calendula have been found to be beneficial in the treatment of psoriasis. An extract of plant material obtained from,has been found to be advantageous as an active compound in medicaments for use in the treatment of psoriasis.
