Abstract
A wastewater treatment system having an aeration tank (,) is provided with an operations control center (,) that includes a controller (,) and an aerator pump (,) mounted atop a base (,), which is in turn mounted atop a platform (,). A plurality of electrical lines (,) extend from the controller through respective conduits (,). The conduits extend through and are sealingly engaged by holes in the base and the platform. A compression fitting (,) and coupler (,) are included to provide a fluid-tight seal. This arrangement is advantageous because it prevents corrosive gases from entering the operations control center and corroding the terminals thereof. Also described is a wastewater treatment system that includes a pretreatment tank (,), an aeration tank (,), and a pump tank (,) secured together by a connector that includes bands (,) and spacing means (,) for maintaining a fixed-spaced relationship between the tanks.
