Abstract
Fixing L-shaped wings, extending downward along a front side of an electrical socket, are soldered to a substrate. Fixing legs, extending downward along a back side of the socket, are also soldered to the substrate. Bridge projections extend downward from the bottom of the socket toward the substrate to brace the socket during insertion and removal. Slots along the side of the socket match projections along the sides of the plug and guide the plug as it is inserted into the socket.
