Abstract

The present invention provides synthetic methodology to produce novel dipeptide compounds and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof which exhibit excellent HIV protease inhibitory activity and excellent bioavailability from digestive tracts. Methods of using the dipeptide compounds and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof also are provided.
