Abstract
A delivery unit for motor fuel includes a side channel pump and an electric motor that drives the side channel pump. The electric motor has an armature winding, a permanent magnet (,), and a rotor (,). The rotor (,) and the impeller (,) of the side channel pump are a single component, and the permanent magnet (,) is inserted with positive engagement into a circumference (,) of this component. This allows the production of an especially low-height, low-leakage side channel pump.
